About OUR FOUNDER
F YOU WERE TO ENVISION A BUSY INTERSECTION, YOU MIGHT PICTURE A FEW THINGS LIKE CARS, CROSSWALKS, AND SIGNALS DIRECTING PEOPLE AND TRAFFIC TO STOP AND GO. INTERSECTIONS CAN ALSO BE SYMBOLIC - REPRESENTING THE PLACES OUR LIVES CONNECT AND INTERTWINE WITH OTHERS. THESE KINDS OF INTERSECTIONS REPRESENT SOMETHING GOD, OUR MAKER, IS SO PASSIONATE ABOUT: THE CONNECTION OF PEOPLE. A LIFE WITH JESUS WAS NOT MEANT TO BE LIVED ALONE. IT INVOLVES SLOWING DOWN TO RECOGNIZE THE PLACES OUR LIVES INTERSECT WITH OTHERS. WE HAVE TO FIGHT THE TEMPTATION TO BE TOO BUSY TO CONNECT WITH OTHERS BECAUSE IF WE DON’T STOP, WE’LL MISS THE PEOPLE GOD INTENDS FOR US TO MEET. LIKEWISE, IF WE REMAIN STILL AND DON’T "GO," WE'LL MISS THE PEOPLE GOD HAS SET BEFORE US TO LOVE! IN A WORLD PLAGUED WITH LONELINESS, GOD DRAWS US TOWARDS ONE ANOTHER TO LIVE A LIFE OF PURPOSE AND EXPERIENCE JOY! LET’S TALK ABOUT IT!
